A Day in the Life of the Benefits Manager:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and compliance of the plant’s benefits programs including medical & dental insurance, group life, dependent life, and AD&D insurance and flexible spending accounts.

This position is responsible for supervising a Benefits Administrator, a Benefits Clerk, and a Plant Receptionist

•       Manage medical & dental insurance programs. Oversee employee enrollments and changes.

•       Manage the group life, dependent life, and group AD & D insurance programs. Answer employee questions and process benefit claims in coordination with the life insurance carrier.

•       Manage the annual open enrollment process including the development and delivery of plan communication materials and employee meetings.

•       Work with broker/consultant to oversee Request for Proposals, the due diligence process, and selection of benefit vendors.

•       Develop and coordinate human resources procedures/policies to administer benefit plans, enroll employees, process claims, and maintain appropriate records.

•       Manage COBRA and HIPAA programs and ensure overall compliance with various federal and state laws, rules & regulations.

•       Speak / Read Spanish, Burmese or Hakha Chin language a plus.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience to be successful:

•       Four-year degree in Industrial Relations or Business Management.

•       Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in an administrative role and knowledge of benefit regulations.

•       Three (3) to five (5) years manufacturing environment. Strong reading communication and analytical skill required.  to work within a team environment

Compensation  and Benefits

$45,000 to $50,000 plus DOE.
