Your new position:

As a Laminator Operator 2, you are responsible for assisting Laminator Operator 1s running high-speed, Wide-Web, Solvent-less Laminators to produce quality flexible packaging materials.

A Day in the life of the Laminator Operator 2 position includes:

•       You will checks all tools and equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.

•       Coordinate with the Operator to complete preventative maintenance.

  • Review and understand the work instructions for the entire lamination step of each assigned job and verifies that all film materials and proper width adhesive roll are available before proceeding with a job set-up.
  • Prepare and stage Laminators.
  • Completes the Lamination Operator 2 Certification Checklist

Job Requirements

What you need to succeed:

  • Our clients demand perfect products. Your eye for detail with a high degree of accuracy will ensure our success.
  • Previous Laminator, Wide-Web Press, or roll stock slitting experience and mechanical aptitude/experience is highly preferred.

•       Capable of performing mathematical calculations, and properly using tape measures and micrometers.

  • Job experience in an industrial production environment.

•       See and differentiate color per adopted assessment methods to support color compliance with the approved printed sample.

  • HSD or GED
  • You have at least one year of experience as a Laminator operator.
  • You can lift and ensure proper handling of items up to 75 pounds.
  • You are capable of standing for 12 hours with a full range of body motion.
