Traveling Sales | Sales Engineer
Are you a consultative Sales Engineer with B2G Sales experience?

Please note - this is a traveling position for the state of Texas. You will be on the road four days per week.

A day in the life of the Travelling Sales Representative includes traveling Texas calling on leaders of city governments discovering the procurement process including mayors, city council members, city administrators and directors of transportation.

Job Requirements

Skills and Traits to be Successful:

  • Excellent consultative sales approach and experience with Salesforce
  • Documents all sales activities  creating a pipeline to include stages of prospects, expected revenue and time to close
  • Understands the sales cycle and is continually looking for ways to decrease it
  • Experienced in managing the sales funnel and generating prospecting and sales production reports
  • Strong LinkedIn presence and knows how to prospect in LinkedIn – not just having connections
  • Technology and SaaS sales background
  • Has a proven B2G background
  • An inquisitive mind
  • Willing to travel four to five days per week
  • Proven history of being self-directed in achieving sales goals
  • History of surpassing sales quotas, winning sales contests, presidential awards, trips for exceeding quotas.

Experience and Education

  • Four-year degree preferred in Engineering
  • Ten plus years’ experience in B2G sales
  • Traveling sales experience
  • Very consultative approach and advanced sales training

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Base pay $60,000 to $80,000 plus commission. Total annual compensation $150,000 plus based on performance
  • Excellent benefit package
